My Family
My wife is Cynthia Stowell, a writer and photographer.
The first part of her book Faces of a Reservation is a collection of fifty-two photographic & written portraits of Warm Springs people. The second part is a combination of writing and archival photos covering the (pre)history of the reservation, the people, treaties, and so on.
Faces was published by the Oregon Historical Society Press in 1987 and won the Oregon Book Award for Creative Nonfiction in 1988. You can find it on Amazon.
Cynthia has also written a novel, New Old World. You can read about it here: [NOW].
Cynthia is currently working on a play, and a prequel to NOW.
Our son is August Miller (Gus), www.gusmiller.com.
