Memories & Condolences

We are very saddened by the passing of our dear Friend and Grandma Gina, who was family to us. She was such a treasure and will be greatly missed by everyone. We will always remember the wonderful times we spent with Gina and Jerry, traveling and camping out in the trailer on our way to Canada. Patrick and Donna always talk about the stay at the cabin on the Lake, where they played with the squirrels and caught a lot of fish. When Gina and Jerry visited us here in Hawaii, we experimented in cooking different dishes and eating a lot and always had a wonderful time. Getting to know the Miller Ohana (family) was such a joy. Though the years have passed the fond memories will live on forever in our hearts and minds. Our love and prayers go out to all the Miller Ohana.

The year was 1969, the place East Valley Thrift Store, the job, boxboy. Jerry and Virginia were my very first employers, I remember them very well. I was only 15 at the time but I remember Virginia always smiling and laughing, she always was a delight to be around. I was one of the 3 East Valley High School kids that got their start early on in life working for the Millers, the other 2 were Brad Deakins, and Donnie Roberts. All 3 of us worked through our high school years together.

Virginia was a loving and caring Mom, everyone always felt that. I have not seen any of the Millers for a long time, hope to meet them again on Saturday and celebrate Virginia's long life.

Bob, your mother was "special", sharp in her age. Always remembered who I was after all the years. Loved her, will miss. You too.

Virginia was a happy person when she was doing something for someone else, and that was most of the time.

With Love to you all,
Jodi & Bob Jeanneru? (Yates)

Virginia and my mother (Edith Toepel) were not only cousins but also good friends. One of my early memories is that of attending Virginia's and Jerry's garden wedding. My sister, Jean, was the flower girl. I had never been to a wedding before that. In later years, we looked forward to seeing Virginia and Jerry at King Family reunions.

Both Mil and I will remember Virginia's wonderful sense of humor, her friendliness and kindness, her love of family, and her Christian faith. She will be missed by her family and many friends.

All of you are in our thoughts and prayers. May God enfold you in His loving arms and give you comfort.

Virginia will be missed. She was a grand family matriarch that added spice to any family gathering.

Dear Bob,

Virginia was a very special lady, and you were lucky to have her as long as you did. When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure. Your treasure chest is full!

RP,

Your care and devotion you gave to your mother the last few years will not be forgotten. She was a "special" lady!

I enjoyed knowing Virginia so much. She was fun and funny, smart, caring, and gracious -- a model for me, a few years younger.

Jerry and Virginia we so supportive of the band from the first years Dean and I were here. How important it was for Dean to have parents like them!

And of course, we greatly appreciate their allowing us to live in their house for several months while the house here was being built. It was a real lifesaver for us and a very generous thing for them to do.

We will all miss Virginia in our lives but are glad she is home with Christ and united again with Jerry.

Sincerely, Joy Rowbotham

Thinking of you and Virginia. She will always be in our hearts.

Much love,

Dear John, Cynthia, & Gus

I know that your (grand) mother (in-law)'s passing is sad but I also know how hard you all worked to make her happy & comfortable through her last trials. And to hear from John that her final homecoming was recognized & enjoyed is just the best. Good job guys - and I'm sorry for your loss.

Love,
(Aunt)(Sis) Linda (in-law)
