Programming into BASIC (Main Page)

This is the cover of the 9th edition, which was used at Lewis & Clark College during Winter and Spring terms, 1982.

The cover graphic represents the propensity for the B-machine to move ahead from one instruction to the next, just as a Von Neumann Machine does. I named this design 'Traversal'.

Programming into BASIC cover

Here are a three selected chapters, and some publishing background. None of the HAND-DRAWN DIAGRAMS or FIGURES appear in these pages. Figures are a big part of the book. Would need scanning. Sorry!

You are welcome to read, but please don't save any copies of these pages.
