Cynthia goes to Iceland

Some of the 80 Photos John took of Cynthia while in Iceland.

For many years, Cynthia wanted to go to Iceland, before it got 'discovered' and over-run with tourists. Then things began to happen. Game of Thrones? Walter Mitty? Direct flights. The Blue Lagoon. Pretty soon, there was a whole tourist industry springing up, encouraged economically in the wake of the disastrous banking collapse. The number of tourists has been increasing yearly. (May Need re-writing.)

Photos are in chronological order.

You may see the photos Cynthia is seen taking here, in her google albums.

Now the photos...

Green Mound
On the Green Mound in the harbor at Reykjavík.

At the top of the green mound is an art installation of fish hanging to dry. Thufa is by a woman artist named Ólöf Nordal.
